Risk assessment of psychological stress
The risk assessment of psychological stress is a tool for the collective analysis of working conditions and the derivation of preventive measures. Since the end of 2013, this has been explicitly required by the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Psychological risk assessment as a strategic lever
Risk assessments of psychological stress (GB Psych) are not only required by law, but also offer companies a valuable opportunity to further develop their work organisation in a targeted manner. Nevertheless, many companies shy away from this – often out of concern that unexpected stresses will be revealed. However, practical experience shows that a well-implemented GB Psych is much more than just a legal obligation. It provides key insights into productivity, leadership culture and process optimisation.
It is crucial not to view the results in isolation, but to use them for strategic development. We rely on a practice-oriented model that combines risk assessment with a structured action plan. This turns a legal requirement into an effective management tool that not only reduces risks but also strengthens the entire corporate culture in the long term.
