How is data collected on this website?

We only collect and process your data if we have either received your consent to data processing or the processing is permitted by law.

On the one hand, data can be collected by direct communication, e.g. via a contact form, on the other hand, the collection is automated via technical systems. In this data protection declaration, we would like to provide comprehensive information about the type, purpose and duration of data collection on our website.

Consideration of do-not-track and information on opt-out

We take into account the do-not-track feature set in the browser. If Do-Not-Track is activated in the browser, third-party tracking is deactivated and no web font from external resources is integrated.

We would like to point out that a general deactivation of cookies can lead to malfunctions when using our website and, moreover, does not reliably rule out data transmission to Google Analytics. We therefore recommend using the “Do not track” option (DNT) of your Internet browser. Depending on the browser, this is either a switch in the program settings or a module (add-on or plug-in) to be installed later. If this option is activated, your browser signals to our web server that you do not want any tracking measures without your explicit consent. We will then automatically deactivate all tracking functions on the server side. This also means that our websites are delivered without code for Google Analytics. This ensures the best possible data protection without you having to take any further measures with regard to our website.

Depending on the Internet browser used, the procedure for activating the “Do not track” option differs. To do this, follow the links below:

Mozilla Firefox – How to enable “Do not track” in the program options

Microsoft Internet Explorer – How to enable “Do not track” in the program options

Google Chrome – Instructions on how to enable “Do not track” in the program options

Your contact via email

If you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be guaranteed. The content of e-mails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you only send us confidential information by post.

SSL encryption

This website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot normally be read or changed by third parties.

Analysis of the website activities of our users and information on embedded offers of third parties

TypeKit WebFonts

The fonts “Lato” and “Kremlin” are used as Adobe’s Typekit service to display the website. In the course of providing the Typekit service, no cookies are placed or used to provide the font.

To provide the Typekit service, Adobe may collect information about the fonts (here “Myriad Pro” and “Minion Pro” Condensed) provided on the web server. The information is used for billing and compliance purposes and may include:

  • provided fonts
  • ID of the set
  • Account ID
  • Service that provides the fonts (e.g. Typekit or Edge Web Fonts)
  • Application requesting the fonts (e.g. Adobe Muse)
  • Server that provides the fonts (e.g. Typekit server or Enterprise CDN)
  • Hostname of the page where the fonts are loaded

If the Do Not Track feature is activated in the browser, no external web fonts will be loaded without consent, but alternative fonts will be used.

Server provider and server log files

The server provider of the digifant.net website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This data is only collected in order to be able to understand technical errors or malicious attacks. All server logs are deleted after 7 days.

The data stored are:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the server request
  • HTTP request method
  • Requested address
  • Request status code
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Browser type/ browser version
  • operating system used
  • Host name of the accessing computer

This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.
